PCSUnited was created from lived experience — years of service, leadership, family transitions, and the real pressure that comes with making major financial decisions during a move. The mission is simple: help Active Duty members, veterans, and military spouses understand their options before they commit.

Designed as a modern military FinTech platform, PCSUnited goes beyond basic calculators. It combines military pay context, base-level housing insight, financial readiness tools, and AI-supported guidance to help families make confident, informed decisions.

As a retired Air Force veteran with a master’s degree in Engineering Management from Johns Hopkins University and current graduate studies in Duke University’s MSQM: Business Analytics program, Josue Orozco built PCSUnited to give military families a clearer, smarter way to navigate PCS moves, housing decisions, and financial readiness.

Our Story

We are used to being Targeted in the Military, and Home Buying is No Exception. I Too Felt the Constant Apprehension when Looking for Realtor, Lender, and Even Search Sites.
I realized Vendors and Realtors Are very Prepared Before we meet, WHY CAN'T WE? 

Home Buying Is Easy if Your in the Military and DONT KNOW ANY BETTER.
This simple Process made me Loose my TSP, but more of that later.
I tried to buy a Home right After Retirement, I was still leaving on Base and was planning ahead, just after receviving my officail Disability Rating. I was Soon Bombarded with Plenty of Realtors who were Eager to Help me Buy A House. They asked how much I wanted to spend and How many Rooms I wanted. They cared about my Credit Score and Downpayment, but NOT about my Financial WellFair or Helping me Find a Perfect Fit for my Family.

The Necessary Skills, for Platform Development

With BS in Industrial Psychology and Masters in Engineering Management, PCSU had a clear Purpose and Mission Statement. Yet, it was during Duke's Masters in Quantetative Management & Business Analytics program that PSCU came alive.

With Advance Statistics and Analytical knowlege using R, Python and A.I integration, the backend to PCSU was created, called TheWing.ai.

Beyond simple calculation and static pages, PSCU was created to inform, and provide deeper insight into what really matters. From my experience as a Senior Business Analyst at Sandia National Labs, I brought the Data Visualization and Modular tools to provide a service that is beyond anything our there currently for military members.

I believe our service members deserve more than basic platforms and services that only look to gain from their military status. PCSUnited was created from my Commitment to Service.
